Born on April 4, 1969,  village of Makhai Zai, Karam Agency, Mufti Munir Shakir exhibited a deep passion for religious education from an early age. His thirst for knowledge led him to Karachi, where he immersed himself in Quranic and Islamic studies under the guidance of esteemed scholars. His dedication and diligence earned him recognition in Quranic exegesis and Islamic jurisprudence, establishing him as a respected scholar.

Mufti Munir Shakir’s commitment to peace and unity remained at the core of his mission. Through the establishment of institutions such as Chinar Masjid and Jamia Farooqia, he provided avenues for religious education and community welfare.
